  • Why me?

Excellent question. I assume you’ve already read the “About” page – so let’s dive into something different.

First and foremost, I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all. Companies are different: what works in tech will fail in heavy equipment manufacturing. The adoption struggles of your sales team are very different from your quality group. Some companies can easily make changes, others have legal, audit, compliance, and certification requirements that must be met first. It’s why I don’t have a trademarked and over-workshopped-named “PMO Architect Method”.

When you work with me, we start with YOU. Your industry, your market, your customers. Your people, locations, culture. Your existing systems, ways of working, competencies.

Unless you ask me to find your gaps and areas of improvement, we’re going to work on the strategy, challenges, and changes that you have already identified. Think you need a PMO? Great, let’s talk about what that might look like and how to set it up. Sure you need one? Awesome, straight to making it happen.

Most importantly, everything we do together is going to be data driven. KPIs of course. But also adoption measures beyond number of tokens, clicks, or log-ins. Business value metrics around time saved, errors reduced, yields improved. Honest, clear reporting on what is actually happening.

If that sounds like a partnership for you – let’s talk!

  • Welcome to the PMO Architect

After 26 years working both in and with businesses to improve their processes, increase yields, streamline manufacturing, and truly listen to what their people want, I’m launching out on my own.

Why? Well, I could tell you about my desire for work-life balance – and it would be true. My husband and I are empty nesters, and we want to travel more while we’re still relatively healthy. I could also tell you about narrowing down my focus to what I’m most passionate about – and that would also be true. What gives me joy in my career is the “teach a person to fish” idea. Training others, yes. Coaching them to success, yes. Helping a team or company see where they have opportunities, and giving them the roadmap and tools to leverage them, heck yes.

What I most want though, is more variety in the people and companies I help. Staying with a single business means working only with them. Staying at a consulting company means being restricted to the clients and issues that a separate sales team unearths.

Here, now, as my own advisory firm, I can find the right companies who need my kind of expertise – not as a full-time hire, but a temporary program guide, a fractional PMO or OCM leader. The mid-market space I’m looking at is huge and diverse, and I’m excited to work not only with the same kinds of tech businesses as my previous ‘life’, but at everything else – retail, financial, you name it.
